Axon launches live production mixer --

Axon has announced the launch of SynLive, a modular live production video mixer consisting of a basic setup of modules which can be customised.
The basic SynLive set includes an upstream router (8x8), mix engine with keying functionality, an 8-channel multiviewer, a GUI for control and set-up, Tally and UMD management and a dual 13 button source selection panel with T-bar. The SynLive system can be expanded with frame syncs on the inputs, mix engines, CVBS/HDMI/Fibre inputs and outputs, additional multiviewer inputs and additional router I/O (up to 40x40).

2D DVE for pic-in-pic and squeeze back
2 key and fill inputs (when cascaded)
Flexible routing options ranging from 8 to 40 inputs or outputs
Wide variety of control options; hardware panel, software panel
Tally and UMD management and control
Physical GPI I/O
Mixer panel: LPP1000 dual 13 button source selection, T-bar and 4 programmable LCD buttons
Setup and control panel based on Cerebrum (AXONs control and monitoring software), optimized for touch screen use
Expandable with 350 different Synapse (AXONs signal processing product line) modules and functions
Ethernet based control
