-- After six weeks of voting, we are delighted to announce the seven winning entries in this year's tvebiomovies 2013 competition. 565 film-makers from 75 countries took part in the tvebiomovies 2013 competition, submitting their film proposals to tve. Just fourteen filmmakers made it through to the finals, and successfully transformed their film treatments into one minute movies.

The finalists then put their productions to the public vote on YouTube, giving us their creative takes on big ideas, including food waste, climate change and biodiversity, using animation, music and drama.

Clicks equalled votes and after a six-week voting period seven winners emerged across the seven different categories. The winners come from Bolivia, Cameroon, Colombia, Mauritius, Nepal, Peru and Slovakia. Our youngest winner is 17 years old.
