Debuting on Netflix this July, My Unorthodox Life is a fascinating new series that chronicles the personal and professional lives of Julia Haart, a former member of an ultra-Orthodox Jewish community who bid goodbye to that world eight years ago and now serves as the CEO of Elite World Group, the renowned talent empire. Previously the creative director of luxury brand La Perla, Haart is a fashion mogul and innovative entrepreneur dedicated to changing the game and revolutionizing the industry from the inside out. And she's doing it while also helping her four children- all born into the same Orthodox community- reconcile their upbringing with the culture of the modern world, empowering them to be themselves in the process.

As we prepare for endless days spent in the summer sun, Haart shares with us some of her fashion expertise and reveals the seven must-have items that should be in heavy rotation this summer, from skincare to footwear and everything in between.

1. Face moisturizer with SPF: The first rule of good skin for every single human: Moisturize, moisturize! And lather on that SPF sunscreen! It's so important to have SPF on your skin during the summer.

2. A comfy pair of slides: I love the flatform variety because I'm vertically challenged, so flatform slides are both comfy and give me the height I love.

3. A light and comfortable pair of sunglasses: You want something that protects your eyes from both UVA and UVB. You can be chic and safe at the same time!

4. A long, flowy sundress: For easy day-to-night transition.

5. A perfect white T-shirt: Everyone should have a perfect fit, soft, light, and comfortable white tee. You can wear it under or over something, or on its own.

6. A pair of denim shorts: Throw on your favorite pair and go exploring!

7. A light beach bag: Everyone needs one of these to throw all your various sundries in. Make sure the strap feels good on your skin your shoulders will thank you!
