Noted Documentaries The Clean Bin Project And A Day Without Cancer To Be Showcased at ATF 2014

TORONTO (December 7, 2014) - Breakthrough Entertainment has completed an Asia-wide deal with Nat Geo People for travel and lifestyle series Rustic Adventures: Italy and Rustic Adventures: Argentina. The announcement comes alongside several additional deals across the region and the addition of two critically-acclaimed documentaries to its factual slate, as the company prepares for Asia Television Forum 2014.

Breakthrough has confirmed sales with DLife (Japan)for Hollywood's 10 Best; Brand New Media (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines) for Boundless, Sea Nation, and Man on a Mission; and Orient Film (Japan) for The Reinventors.

Breakthrough's newest documentary acquisitions include The Clean Bin Project (1X60') and A Day Without Cancer (1X75'). Described as a combination of An Inconvenient Truth and Super Size Me, The Clean Bin Project is a fun and inspiring call to environmental action that speaks to crowds of all ages. The story follows Grant and Jen, who go head to head in a comedic competition to live with zero waste for an entire year. The award-winning film features laugh-out-loud moments and captivating interviews with TED lecturers Chris Jordan and Captain Charles Moore.
