VO's Cloud Platform Will Enable CNT to Securely Deliver Live, VOD, and Many Over-the-Edge Features

Viaccess-Orca (VO), a global leader providing OTT and TV platforms, content protection, and advanced data solutions, announced today that CNT, the largest telecommunications provider in Ecuador, will use VO's state-of-the-art Cloud Platform, multi-DRM solution, Secure Video Player, and multiscreen applications for the delivery of its new CNTPlay OTT service. Leveraging VO's end-to-end suite of solutions, CNTPlay can deliver live, VOD, start-over, and catch-up TV content to subscribers for a secure and engaging video streaming experience. These services are delivered through a legal contract between CNT EP and Seholme S.A. (part of Kypus IT Group). Kypus IT is a leading provider of systems design and telco services in Ecuador, which is helping to streamline the deployment of CNTPlay as a specialized contractor and integrator.
