Six years after starring in the high-stakes thriller film Money Monster, Oscar-winning stars George Clooney and Julia Roberts are reuniting for a romantic-comedy film titled Ticket to Paradise. The two stars will play a divorced couple who are on a mission to stop their daughter's wedding.

GEORGE CLOONEY AND JULIA ROBERTS REUNITE George Clooney and Julia Roberts have graced the big screen several times, but never in a romantic comedy. The Hollywood giants have both featured in Ocean's 11 and Ocean's 12 and this time around, they'll be laughing together and doing the unthinkable!
In the upcoming film, Ticket to Paradise, Clooney and Roberts are a divorced couple who end up on the same flight on their way to their daughter's (Kaitlyn Dever) wedding in Bali but it's not smooth sailing for this family

The couple is hoping to stop their daughter from marrying a man she just met and thinks that she is throwing her career away .
In the three-minute trailer, the couple calls a truce and comes up with a plan to sabotage the wedding.
Ticket to Paradise marks Julia Roberts' first comedy film in 20 years.

GEORGE CLOONEY ON RETURNING TO COMEDY Speaking to Deadline in January, Clooney described Ticket to Paradise as something special adding that he has not done a romantic comedy film since One Fine Day in 1996.
I've done some sort of snarky one, you know and in this one, Julia and I just get to be mean to each other in the funniest way and the minute I read it, I called Julia and I said: Did you get this?' and she said: Yeah' and I said: Are you going to do it?' and she goes: Are you going to do it?' and I said, Yeah, if you do it'.
So it was just one of one of those lucky things, the 61-year-old actor said.
The film is set to be released on 21 October.
TICKET TO PARADISE' SET EXPERIENCE IN AUSTRALIA Ticket to Paradise was shot in Australia and George Clooney said the set was protected by very severe rules but the shoot was quickly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Omicron hit and it was just so contagious that it just spread like wildfire there. Suddenly we lost cast and crew members and it just got to be everyone was going down with it losing like 15 people a day and it just got to be impossible to work, he explained.
Clooney said the COVID-19 shut down would not affect the film's 21 October release date.
