NTP Software, HDS Extend Partnership to Include Integrated Intelligent Storage Solutions

NASHUA, N.H., January 7, 2013 - NTP Software , the worldwide leader in File Data Management, today announced that it has extended its relationship with technology partner Hitachi Data Systems to include cost-effective, high-performance storage systems featuring seamless integration with the BlueArc technology it acquired in its 2011 company purchase.

A member of the HDS Technology Alliance Program, NTP Software works in conjunction with the company's NAS platform to enforce and maintain quotas and to monitor, block and manage files as part of comprehensive policy controls established by storage administrators. Before its acquisition, BlueArc had extended its partnership to include NTP Software's technology for seamless integration with its storage systems to offer joint customers system-wide control and insight of their data. With this latest agreement, Hitachi NAS Platform, powered by BlueArc, and NTP Software offer customers highly scalable solutions that allows companies granular control of how much storage end users can consume, what types of data they can store and how long they can keep that data.

With the expanded partnership, HDS will continue to offer NTP Software's family of award-winning software, including NTP Software QFS , NTP Software File Data Reporter and NTP Software File Auditor.
