Digital Juice announced today that it is releasing a new product line called Matte Magic that features 10 unique volumes of black & white animated mattes designed by video editors for video editors. All effects are Quicktime clips that will work with all editing and motion design software including Avid, Adobe Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas Pro, Final Cut Pro After Effects, Apple Motion and more.
One of the most powerful features in any editing application is the black and white matte , says David Hebel, CEO of Digital Juice. It gives you the power to mask or cut out areas of your video, so that you can mix and merge it with other clips, animations or even just with black. Mattes are used everywhere, including music videos, show opens & high end commercials. They are simple to use and best of all, they keep your footage as the star. However, making a great matte, particularly a great animated matte, can be difficult and time-consuming. Thats where Matte Magic comes in!

The Matte Magic Strobes & Flickers volume includes more than 40 uniquely useful animated mattes with a variety of flashing, flickering, strobe-lit effects. The clips in this collection include a variety of intricately choreographed, rhythmically diverse, soft and hard shapes and motions. The matte motion is designed to momentarily distract your viewer with effects that add active vigor to your footage by simulating more energetic lighting environments in modern-day chiaroscuro tableaus.

The Matte Magic Breakthroughs Collection 1 volume includes more than 270 uniquely useful animated mattes in 15 matching sets. Each set includes more than 6 coordinated animated mattes, with additional loopable mattes and entry and exit motions. The sets in this collection include a variety of intricately choreographed geometric and organic shapes and motions, designed to break your footage into intriguingly complex patterns, slices and segues.
Breakthroughs Collection 2
The Matte Magic Breakthroughs Collection 2 volume includes more than 245 uniquely useful animated mattes in 15 matching sets. Each set includes more than 6 coordinated animated mattes, with additional loopable mattes and entry and exit motions.
