SVG's annual TranSPORT conference is going virtual this year. While we are unable to host our annual industry gathering in New York City as usual, SVG is proud to announce the SVG TranSPORT Virtual Series - a two-day series of keynotes, panels, presentations, and video-based networking events to be held on Sept. 23-24. In addition, SVG is again teaming up with the Video Services Forum (VSF) to hold back-to-back events with VSF hosting their Fall Meeting Series Webinar on Sept. 22. Please CLICK HERE to register and contact Bob Ruhl at bob.ruhl1@verizon.com for information.

Chairing this year's event will be Adam Whitlock, Associate Director, Remote Traffic Operations, ESPN. Whitlock will lead the program, which will once again feature the SVG TranSPORT Advisory Committee and other sports-transmission industry leaders.

The two days of online sessions will focus on the current state of live-sports contribution and distribution technology. TranSPORT will address the industry's most pressing issues including the latest developments in terrestrial and satellite backhaul, IP and bonded-cellular contribution, the potential of 5G and other next-gen technologies, OTT and streaming protocols, 4K and HDR delivery, the rise of at-home-production workflows, and more.
