Neotecnica It has begun distribution in Spain of DiGiGrid, platform that enables transport and process network up to 256 audio channels.

DiGiGrid interfaces provide capabilities of transporting and processing network to practically any mixture or audio production system. Native DAWs such as Logic, Cubase, Nuendo and Ableton Live; Pro Tools native systems or HD; mixers with MADI bus; even analog sources, they can benefit from audio transport over Ethernet multichannel and powerful processing network.

It is a fact that most audio production infrastructures, either in Studio or live, rely increasingly on multichannel transport protocols over Ethernet cabling; protocols that allow simultaneous transmission and management of hundreds of channels in high resolution in some cases.

Native DAWs, ProTools and MADI

Those who work with native DAWs only need to connect the computer where it runs the application to the DiGiGrid interface using a single Ethernet cable. For these users are available as primary units depending on whether IOS, IOX, IOC or SWI, interfaces are requienre only transport signals or transporte procesamiento.

For his part, Pro Tools HD users have access to the interfaces DiGiGrid DLS or DLI, which not only provide access to a world of transportation and/or signal processing based on DiGiGrid devices and Waves SoundGrid servers, but they also offer connectivity Digilink to work with Pro Tools (such as IO HD and other devices) interfaces.

As regards users of MADI devices, they have interfaces MGB (coaxial MADI to SoundGrid) and MGO (optical MADI to SoundGrid), 128 channels that allow of ida and other return 128 (64 channels of ida and 64 return to 96 kHz).
