New, strong TDC organization

Based on the group strategy presented in November 2012 TDC now launches a new, strong organizational setup. The new organization will further strengthen brands and customer experience across the group.

The ambition to strengthen the multibrand approach of the group is a cornerstone in the group strategy and as such also in the reorganization announced today. All consumer brands including YouSee will be part of the Consumer business unit headed by Anders Jensen, Group CMO and Senior Executive Vice President.

President and CEO Carsten Dilling explains the strengthened position on the consumer market:

We want to continue the effort to sharpen our brand strategy in the consumer market. We need to leverage our strong positions optimally as well as work together towards delivering a great customer experience, building the most innovative products and offering the strongest content for all our customers.

To support the ambition to continously ensure the best possible customer experience a new business unit Channels will be established. This business line will comprise all call centres as well as online departments, across the Danish part of the group. The aim is to ensure a more efficient and modern customer approach.

With our 2015 strategy we emphasized the plan to invest significantly to ensure that we will continue to be the preferred vendor of unique content to the Danish people. To support this ambition and adapt for future requirements, we will bring the best people across the group together; both in relation to development, IT, network strategy and market approach, Carsten Dilling says.

The job as managing director of YouSee will not continue in its current form, and Niels Breining has therefore decided to resign. In the future he will focus on working as a board member and as a consultant for among others TDC. YouSee A/S will continue to exist as a legal entity and the reorganization will have no effect on neither YouSees individual customers nor customers organized in antenna associations. The same applies to customer in other TDC subsidiaries.

The reorganization takes effect as of 1st July 2013. TDC is working on finding the future director for Channels. In the meantime Carsten Dilling is acting.
