London's new entertainment TV channel London Live, has commissioned three new series two factual entertainment lifestyle, one entertainment as well as a run of comedy pilots. The series will mark the beginning of the channel's Spring 2014 launch.
London Live's head of Programming, Jonathan Boseley, has commissioned Jamie Oliver's production company Fresh One to make a series about passionate foodies based in London. Renowned Films has been given the green light to produce F2 Kicks Off, a sports lifestyle show, demonstrating the skills of the F2 freestyle footballing talents Billy Wingrove and Jeremy Lynch. The third commission, Nerd TVs' The Anti Social Network is a hidden camera game show in which participants are invited to hand over control of their social network profiles to a panel of leading comedy writers.
A Comedy Hotspot season has also been created for the launch schedule, designed to showcase pilots created by emerging comedy producers. All viewers, as well as an audience panel will be asked to respond on the new shows before any further commissions take place.

We are excited to be working with all three parties before the pilots have even been made, such is our confidence that these concepts will deliver content that Londoners will love.
Additional genres for the primetime 8pm - 9pm slot will include homes and property, fashion and technology. Commissioning is also well underway for the 9pm 11pm entertainment zone, as London Live looks to explore homegrown comedies, live events and formatted entertainment series to sit alongside recently acquired shows such as Peep Show and Twenty Twelve.
