XenData Showcases Integrated Digital Video Archiving Portfolio at IBC 0

XenData/Blue Lucy Tailor Partial Restore - With digital video there is often a need to read only a section of a large high resolution file, such as in the case of sports highlights. Through partial restore, users define the start and finish time codes for the clip and a new file is created which contains only the required content. The Tailor Partial Restore Module is a new software-based plug-in that will enable users to quickly split large video files stored on LTO cartridges into multiple clip files and transfer the clips over a network

SX-525 Server Cluster - The new XenData SX-525 supports one or more LTO libraries connected via fibre channel and includes two servers running Windows Server 2012 in a clustered configuration with a fully redundant RAID cache. The SX-525 supports most enterprise-class robotic LTO libraries, including models from HP, IBM, Oracle, Qualstar, Quantum and Spectra Logic. It may be configured to mirror files across two LTO libraries, creating a fully redundant LTO archive system with no single point of failure.

SXL range of LTO archive systems - Based on XenData's SX-10 archive appliance and LTO-6 drives or robotic LTO-6 libraries, the SXL systems connect to a 1 GigE network and make writing to and restoring from LTO as easy as writing to network attached disk storage.
