
Ottawa, Canada, July 23rd 2021 Am rica Televisi n is a Peruvian television network, founded in 1958 and based in the country's capital Lima. It was the second television channel to be founded in Peru, the first commercial station with regular broadcasts, and is Peru's highest-rated network. With a daily output of news, quiz and chat shows, reality and entertainment content, the network is keenly aware of its popularity and the need to invest to keep its audience share.
We started working with Ross around seven years ago, comments Javier V squez Mendoza, Head of Support and Operations Engineering. Initially, we wanted new production switchers and we were very impressed with Ross because of the feature set offered and the great value. Over time, our involvement with Ross has deepened and we have started to use XPression solutions for graphics and titling, developing DashBoard panels for easy control. Our latest stage has been implementation of the Inception Cloud platform to integrate social networks with XPression graphics.

With the channel firmly focused on improving production values and the creativity of content, XPression was a natural choice. The media landscape in Peru is very competitive, and we have to keep finding ways of making our programs stand out and be more visually impressive. XPression really helps us to do that, and it's a very powerful and user-friendly tool. Also, we use a MOS workflow in our newsroom and XPression integrates very well with the other products we have. The other issue that has been decisive is support. When we first started working with Ross and we had some technical questions we were incredibly satisfied with the support - available 24 hours a day, whenever we needed it. That gave us great confidence in Ross as a technology partner and the quality of support has remained consistently high.

Working with Ross has been a very positive experience because the solutions are easy to implement, easy to use and really help improve our workflows.
