Network technology startup Miri Technologies Inc. has added experienced go-to-market leadership to its management team with the hiring of broadcast and telecommunications industry veteran David Cohen as Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Miri Technologies develops innovative solutions to enable fast, resilient internet connectivity anywhere for mission-critical applications. The company's first product, the X510 dual-cellular bonding router, forges multiple wired and wireless links including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G and satellite together to increase speed and withstand network disruptions even in challenging environments.

Powered by Speedify channel bonding technology from partner Connectify, Inc., the X510 router bolsters internet connectivity for any type of data and supports use cases ranging from live broadcast and streaming to trade show internet connectivity, business continuity and emergency response. Earlier this year, the X510 was honored with a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year Award and with Future's Best of Show Award presented by TV Tech.

Cohen's career includes more than two decades of experience in senior leadership roles at some of the broadcast, entertainment and telecom industries' biggest technology powerhouses. His time leading global marketing for 5G solutions at diversified electronics innovator NEC Corporation gives him valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of evolving wireless technologies and infrastructure. Prior to that, he served as VP of Marketing for Grass Valley one of the world's largest enablers of broadcast television following more than six years with Harris Corporation's Broadcast Communications Division.

Cohen's first priorities in his new role include expanding Miri's network of authorized channel partners to meet the significant demand for the X510 router around the globe, as well as establishing sales channels specializing in vertical markets beyond Miri's streaming and broadcasting roots.
