HISPASAT est presentando en NAB 2017 sus ltimas novedades para el mercado audiovisual. Quienes visiten estos d as su stand podr n seguir una demostraci n con los nuevos contenidos de su canal de televisi n en Ultra Alta Definici n Hispasat 4K, que se emite en abierto para Europa a trav s del sat lite Hispasat 30W-5 y para Am rica Central y del Norte, a trav s del Amazonas 2.
En los ltimos meses, Hispasat ha seguido incorporando a su canal varios cortometrajes seleccionados entre los finalistas y ganadores del Festival Internacional Hispasat 4K, evento que la compa a viene celebrando desde 2015 para fomentar la generaci n de contenidos en dicho formato. De esta manera, el operador espa ol refuerza su posicionamiento como pionero en la distribuci n de contenidos en Ultra Alta Definici n, poniendo de manifiesto su compromiso por continuar en la vanguardia tecnol gica del sector audiovisual.
Hispasat presenta tambi n en Las Vegas las nuevas capacidades disponibles en los tres sat lites que va a lanzar este a o: H36W-1 (lanzado en enero), H30W-6 y, especialmente, el Amazonas 5, que se pondr en rbita en los pr ximos meses para proporcionar servicios de televisi n directa al hogar (DTH) de altas prestaciones y permitir transmitir 500 nuevos canales, lo que reforzar 61 Oeste como la posici n orbital l der en difusi n de televisi n en Am rica Latina. Este sat lite ser clave para consolidar definitivamente la televisi n en Alta Definici n (HD) e impulsar la tecnolog a 4K en la regi n.
Acuerdo con TSA
Coincidiendo con NAB, Hispasat ha anunciado que ha cerrado un acuerdo con el operador TSA, empresa perteneciente al grupo Telef nica y especializada en servicios y soluciones audiovisuales, para distribuir catorce canales de AMC Networks International Iberia, la mayor productora independiente de canales tem ticos en Espa a y Portugal.
El contrato tiene una duraci n de tres a os y los canales se empezar n a retransmitir desde el pr ximo mes de septiembre en la cobertura EMEA del sat lite Hispasat 30W-5.
