Globo realizar una exhibici n especial de Bajo Presi n' en el MIP Canc n 2017. La obra, una coproducci n con Conspira o Filmes, es extremadamente realista e innovadora y tendr un screening durante la feria el d a 16 de noviembre, a las 8:00 a.m., en el Conference Room B. Lanzada para el mercado internacional en Cannes, en el MIPCOM 2017, y aclamada por la cr tica durante el ltimo Toronto International Film Festival, en Canad , la serie de nueve episodios ahora promete impresionar al mercado hispano y latinoamericano.
Disponible en 4K, la obra se une a la nueva cosecha de series que Globo viene presentando en el mercado internacional. Durante su exhibici n en Brasil, donde tuvo un gran xito, registr un alcance promedio de 40,2 millones de espectadores por episodio, con 44 millones tan solo durante su estreno. Los n meros reflejan la apuesta de la empresa por nuevas formas de creaci n, producci n y distribuci n, lo que garantiza al mercado internacional un cat logo consistente de series. Adem s de Bajo Presi n', contamos con historias como Justicia', la cual compite en dos categor as en los Emmy Internacional 2017, Carceleros', Supermax', Ojos Sin Culpa' y Relaciones Peligrosas'.
La historia retrata con mucha adrenalina el d a a d a de un grupo de m dicos que debe driblar adversidades para mantener a los pacientes con vida en un hospital con pocos recursos en los suburbios de R o de Janeiro. Es en este ambiente de mucha tensi n en el que surge la relaci n improbable entre el esc ptico Dr. Evandro (Julio Andrade, Justicia) y la religiosa y eficiente Dra. Carolina (Marjorie Estiano, Relaciones Peligrosas). Como colegas de trabajo, ambos tienen en com n el deseo de salvar vidas y deben encontrar el equilibrio entre las dificultades del oficio y los conflictos personales para hacer frente a una rutina ca tica.
La mayor a de las escenas de Bajo Presi n' fueron filmadas en un ala desactivada de un hospital, lo que permite aportar a n m s intensidad y adrenalina a la trama. Asimismo, el equipo de guionistas se sumergi en la realidad del sistema p blico de salud de R o de Janeiro para inspirarse en casos reales, lo que dio lugar al desarrollo de historias impresionantes, que abordan temas actuales de suma importancia para la sociedad. La serie tambi n cuenta con la orientaci n del doctor Marcio Maranh o, quien ayuda a garantizar que la parte t cnica de la medicina se conjugue con la dramaturgia.
Con direcci n de Andrucha Waddington y Mini Kerti, Bajo Presi n' es fruto del largometraje hom nimo de Andrucha Waddington, y una coproducci n de Globo con Conspira o Filmes, creada por Luiz Noronha, Claudio Torres y Renato Fagundes a partir de una idea original de Mini Kerti, libremente inspirada en el libro Sob Press o A rotina de guerra de um m dico brasileiro, de Marcio Maranh o. El autor de la serie es Jorge Furtado, quien escribe los episodios con Lucas Paraizo, Antonio Prata y M rcio Alem o, y cuenta con el asesoramiento m dico de Marcio Maranh o.
