Avvia from Arvato Systems Paves the Way to the Cloud for Companies

G tersloh - Arvato Systems has launched the Avvia service offering for the standardized and automated roll-out of modern cloud IT. With Avvia, which is composed of Av (for Arvato Systems and Via for way), the IT service provider is now transferring its many years of experience and extensive practical know-how from numerous migration and multi-cloud projects into a new service portfolio. Avvia s prefabricated modules, templates, and services are incorporated into a best-practices construction kit that not only allows scalable cloud IT to be put together flexibly and in line with requirements but also to be made available and operated throughout the company. Thanks to automation and standardization, companies can realize major financial and time savings along the entire product lifecycle: from design to migration to operation - in single, hybrid- and multi-cloud environments.
Cloud Foundation as the Foundation of Modern Enterprise Cloud ItTechnologically, Avvia is based on a Cloud Foundation. The Cloud Foundation is a basic structure that can be set up in the public clouds AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, as well as in the Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) from Arvato Systems. It includes configurable solution modules in the areas of Monitoring & Management, Identity & Access, Network & Connectivity, and Security & Governance. Arvato Systems cloud experts combine customer-specific requirements and proven best practices for these areas. Developed as Infrastructure as Code, the Cloud Foundation not only enables the efficient and high-quality implementation of secure and individually scalable managed cloud IT according to industry standards, but it also ensures significantly accelerated infrastructure provisioning and rapid value creation. Under the motto as much individualization as necessary and as much standardization as possible, we draw on standard templates, best practices, and automation techniques, but at the same time provide for individual leeway where it makes sense and is necessary, explains Christian Scholz, Director Business Transformation at Arvato Systems. Experience shows that this is a very efficient and effective way to move to the cloud while maintaining a high level of security. Once completed, a cloud environment should be designed for long-term use, for which the Avvia Cloud Foundation provides a sustainable foundation.
Professional Managed Services for Modern Cloud ItThe Cloud Foundation allows companies to implement dedicated workloads precisely on it and operate them in a scalable manner.
