Josh Groban offers a great audiovisual show on tour Bridges with Blackmagic solutions A lo largo de 21 conciertos de la gira Bridges' del cantautor estadounidense Josh Groban se emplearon soluciones de Blackmagic como Ursa Broadcast, Micro Studio Camera 4K y ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K para la producci n de contenidos a trav s de pantallas gigantes.
American singer-songwriter Josh Groban ha recorrido 21 ciudades en su ltima gira Bridges in which it had a large audiovisual content produced deployment in situ y distribuidos por pantallas gigantes. Para la producci n de estos contenidos se han empleado numerosas soluciones de Blackmagic Design as Ursa Broadcast, Micro Studio Camera 4K y ATEM 2 M/E Production Studio 4K.
La gira abarc importantes recintos deportivos del Reino Unido y Estados Unidos, tales como el O2 Arena (Londres) y el Madison Square Gardens (Nueva York). El director Stuart Merser, of Vis-a-Vis Video, fue el responsable de llenar los enormes escenarios con una energ a ntima e inspiradora.
Merser destaca que fue una producci n a gran escala, con una orquesta de 14 m sicos, una banda compuesta por 5 miembros y coros invitados en el escenario principal. Adem s, hab a una plataforma m s peque a con un piano, en la que Josh interpret varias canciones de ritmo m s lento. No obstante, la puesta en escena para cada concierto era muy simple y minimalista, a fin de que Josh pudiera relacionarse con el p blico de manera m s personal. Era fundamental encontrar el equilibrio adecuado, por lo que el tono y la calidad de los contenidos audiovisuales deb an ser impecables .
Upstage it occupied a pantalla LED de 14 metros de ancho, a trav s de la cual se transmit an im genes de la actuaci n en vivo de Josh y la banda, capturadas en Ultra High Definition 4K con tres unidades Ursa Broadcast y otras cuatro Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K.
Dado que ya hab a recurrido a las c maras URSA Broadcast en otras giras con artistas de gran relevancia, sab a que eran capaces de captar im genes extraordinarias en recintos deportivos, de modo que fueron la elecci n ideal para una producci n a gran escala como esta. Las utilizamos con diversos objetivos 4K, incluido uno Canon 90:9, por lo cual las im genes en la pantalla eran extraordinarias , subraya.
Nos divertimos mucho preparando las c maras para obtener ngulos sumamente creativos y din micos, con el prop sito de mejorar a n m s la producci n. Por ejemplo, una de las c maras Ursa Broadcast se mont sobre un sistema de seguimiento BlackCam B60 al frente del escenario, lo cual me permiti moverme con facilidad entre Josh y el p blico para captar momentos nicos , agrega Stuart Merser.
Asimismo, los contenidos en directo se transmitieron mediante VideoDust, un programa de manipulaci n de im genes en tiempo real basado en diversas tarjetas de captura y reproducci n de Blackmagic que fue desarrollado con el prop sito de crear distintos efectos din micos para el fondo del escenario. Pudimos mezclar im genes de Josh en directo con una serie de gr ficos, tales como partituras o fondos centelleantes, que a adieron otra dimensi n a una producci n sencilla y discreta , se ala.

Wide variety of scenarios Merser explica que nuestra din mica de trabajo debe ser capaz de hacer frente a una amplia variedad de escenarios. Aunque conocemos los lugares a los que vamos, muchas veces no sabemos con exactitud d nde estar n localizadas las pantallas, si podremos ver el escenario directamente o cu les ser n las condiciones clim ticas o de iluminaci n. En consecuencia, el sistema de producci n debe ser confiable y flexible. Por esta raz n, contamos adem s con una serie de dispositivos Teranex OF y Mini Converter para asegurarnos de poder transmitir las im genes a las pantallas, sin importar la infraestructura del recinto .
En una gira como esta, la creatividad de la producci n audiovisual juega un papel fundamental, ya que los artistas quieren que el p blico forme parte de la actuaci n. La cobertura debe ser n tida y complementar la puesta en escena, sin que los efectos visuales resulten abrumadores. Las c maras y los dem s productos de Blackmagic Design no solo me brindaron la calidad necesaria para proyectar im genes en pantallas de gran tama o, sino que adem s incluyen prestaciones y herramientas que me permitieron crear una mezcla nica en cada ocasi n para reflejar el dinamismo y la energ a de los conciertos , concluye Stuart Merser.
