Tamiletchumy' Season 2, MasterChef Tamil', and more Tamil series to premiere on Astro

Astro customers can look forward to more high quality premiering local and international Tamil shows including highly anticipated Season 2 of popular local series Tamiletchumy', premiere of reality cooking show MasterChef Tamil', spoof comedy show Kanni Theevu Ullasa Ulagam 2.0', and concert Madai Thiradhu Chapter 2: Uyire' on TV, Astro GO and On Demand.

Following the great reception of Tamiletchumy Season 1 on Astro, fans can now enjoy the much-anticipated Season 2 featuring loved favourite characters and new ones. Customers can also look forward to other top shows from India which will be airing this month.

All Astro customers can look forward to the highly anticipated Season 2 premiere of Tamiletchumy', popular local Tamil family drama series. Directed by award-winning local director, Ts. Dr. Vimala Perumal and produced by Denes Kumar, Season 2 will offer customers more heart-warming moments starring talented local cast Hemaji, Moon Nila, Nityashree, Seelan Manoheran, James Devan Arokiasamy, Devendren Sarimirgan, Sri Kumaran and more. Tamiletchumy' Season 2 premieres on 12 August at 9.30pm on Astro Vaanavil HD (Ch 201), Astro GO and On Demand.

Customers can also enjoy the premiere of MasterChef Tamil', an adaptation of competitive reality cooking show MasterChef'. Anchored by an award-winning actor, Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, this series will present intense competition between amateur chefs from all walks of life. MasterChef Tamil' premieres on 7 August at 9.30pm on SUN TV HD (Ch 211), Astro GO and On Demand.

In addition, customers can watch premiering spoof comedy show Kanni Theevu Ullasa Ulagam 2.0' featuring popular Indian actor and comedian, Robo Shankar alongside popular actors including Shakeela, Madhumita, Dindugal Saravanan, Mullai, Gothandam, and Amuthavanan. The show also features famous celebrities as guests including Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. Kanni Theevu Ullasa Ulagam 2.0' premieres on 8 August at 8pm on Colors Tamil HD (Ch 222), Astro GO and On Demand.

All Astro customers can also enjoy premiering concert Madai Thiradhu Chapter 2: Uyire' featuring popular playback singers and musicians including Hariharan, Manjari, Lavanya and Chandrayini. The concert features top hits by the legendary playback singer, Hariharan. Madai Thiradhu Chapter 2: Uyire' premieres on 10 August at 5pm on Astro Vinmeen HD (Ch 202), Astro GO and On Demand.
