Razzien in Mumbai bringen gef lschte FAG-W lzlager und Verpackungen ans Licht
Erfolgreiche Razzien sind f r Schaeffler ein wichtiger Schritt im Kampf gegen Produktpiraterie und damit zum Schutz des Kunden. Vier Produktions-, Verpackungs- und Handelsbetrieben in Mumbai wurde k rzlich der Handel mit gef lschten FAG-W lzlagern nachgewiesen. Dort konnten insgesamt tausende gef lschte FAG-Verpackungen, ber 500 FAG-W lzlager-Plagiate und diverse Maschinen beschlagnahmt werden. Die verantwortlichen Inhaber wurden verhaftet und die Strafverfahren eingeleitet. Die Inhaftierung der Verantwortlichen dient auch als Abschreckung in den Kreisen der F lscher.
Sorgf ltige Planung und Beobachtung
Produkte der Marke FAG z hlen zu den f hrenden W lzlager-Marken und stehen bei F lschern hoch im Kurs. Das Ermittlungsteam der Agentur TACT India, die die Rechte von Schaeffler in Indien vertritt, hat Mumbai als einen zentralen Markt dieser Plagiate erkannt und die Hauptakteure identifiziert. Die Untersuchungen ergaben bereits im Vorfeld ausreichend Informationen als Grundlage f r die Razzien. Allerdings hatten die betroffenen Firmen vorab von den Aktionen erfahren und hielten ihre Gesch fte geschlossen oder suchten sich neue Lagerr ume. Nach f nf Tagen Wartezeit und weiterer Beobachtung konnten in vier Betrieben die Razzien durchgef hrt werden. Gemeinsam mit der lokalen Polizeibeh rde stellte TACT India ber 37.000 FAG-Verpackungen und -Aufkleber, 530 FAG-W lzlager und 250 FAG-Druckvorlagen sowie diverse Schleif- und Verpackungsmaschinen sicher. Zudem wurden zwei der Eigent mer und ein weiterer Mitarbeiter festgenommen und in Untersuchungshaft berf hrt.
Schaeffler im Kampf gegen Produktpiraterie
Bereits seit 2004 hat Schaeffler eine zentrale Stelle zur Bek mpfung der Produkt- und Markenpiraterie eingerichtet. Seitdem ist viel passiert: Mehrere tausend F lle hat das Brand-Protection-Team in der Zwischenzeit bearbeitet. Dabei handelte es sich keineswegs nur um F lle aus dem asiatischen Raum, wie in diesem Beispiel. Auch in Europa und den USA gab es eine Vielzahl von gr eren F lschungsdelikten. Anhand dieser weltweiten Erfahrungen wird die Vorgehensweise zur Verfolgung von Markenrechtsverletzungen laufend verfeinert und weiterentwickelt. Grunds tzlich gilt in der Schaeffler Gruppe f r F lle von Produkt- und Markenpiraterie eine Null-Toleranz-Strategie. Oberstes Ziel ist dabei der Schutz des Kunden. Um auch Abnehmer und Endkunden zu sch tzen, die INA- und FAG-Produkte ber den Handel beziehen, hat Schaeffler seine Vertriebspartner weltweit bewertet und zertifiziert. Die autorisierten H ndler sind auf der Schaeffler-Homepage hinterlegt und k nnen durch Eingabe der Zertifikatsnummern berpr ft werden.
