Progress Delivers First UI for AngularJS 2 with Latest Telerik DevCraft Release New features and updates reaffirm companys position as the leader in responsive web apps, developer productivity, .NET and HTML5/JS innovation
BEDFORD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Progress (NASDAQ: PRGS) today announced the latest release of Telerik DevCraft suite, the most complete .NET toolbox for web, mobile and desktop development. The new release introduces support for AngularJS 2 Alpha, the top-of-the-line JavaScript framework developed by Google, as well as significant enhancements to help developers produce highly-responsive web apps for a multitude of platforms. Telerik, a Progress company, is the first to market in delivering UI for AngularJS 2.
AngularJS 2 Support
Telerik has worked closely with Google to be one of the first organizations to support the latest advancements in AngularJS. With todays release, Telerik Kendo UI , part of the Telerik DevCraft suite, now supports both AngularJS 1.x and AngularJS 2 Preview, and is working towards support for AngularJS 2 Beta (coming in Q2). Early-adopters of AngularJS 2 can utilize the Telerik Kendo UI product to easily produce beautiful responsive web apps on top of the AngularJS 2 Preview.

Additional Advancements in Telerik DevCraft Q1 2016
Official release of Telerik UI for Universal Windows Platform for Windows 10 tool, supporting the latest Microsoft platform for cross-device app development. Includes more than 20 controls including Grid, ListView, AutoCompleteTextView and SideDrawer.
Telerik Report Server report sharing, integration with the Progress OpenEdge application and improved scheduling capabilities. Developers working on business apps can deploy Report Server and distribute pre-calculated reports to business owners with just a few mouse clicks. In addition, reports can be embedded in any .NET application directly from the Report Server.
Mobile UI tool advancements including a new AutoComplete TestView in UI for iOS and enhancements to ListView and DataForm for UI for Android.
Availability of Spreadsheet for Telerik Kendo UI, UI for MVC and UI for ASP.NET AJAX products.
