Lightware Visual Engineering, a leading manufacturer of connectivity solutions for the professional integrated systems market and a pioneer in signal management, has today launched a dedicated website landing page for its range of HDMI, USB-C, USB-A extenders and cable adapters/converters. Built to deliver reliability, precision and innovation, Lightware cables ensure reduced latency and optimal performance for flawless connectivity solutions that power today's AV setups.
Premium HDMI cables for discerning users
Lightware's premium and newest 7m and 9m HDMI cables are designed for discerning users, supporting ultra-high-definition resolutions up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, ensuring crystal-clear imagery with vibrant colour depth. With a high bandwidth of up to 18Gbps, they effortlessly handle even the most data-intensive signals for seamless connectivity and superior audio-visual fidelity.
Engineered with a robust shield for enhanced EMI protection, these passive cables also guarantee stable transmission and minimal interference, preserving signal integrity over long distances. In addition, Lightware HDMI products not only support advanced features such as Consumer Electronics Control (CEC), Audio Return Channel (ARC), and HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC) for seamless device control and networking but also enable transmission of High Dynamic Range (HDR10), Dolby Vision, and Hybrid log gamma (HLG) video formats. Lightware Active Optical Cables (AOC) are also available in the lengths of 10m, 15m, 20m, 30m, and 50m.
USB-C cable technology delivers unprecedented speed
Lightware USB-C cable technology was developed to streamline signal transmission, offering users unprecedented speeds, effortless connectivity and practical features. Incorporating an eMarker chip and numerous other advantages, they deliver comprehensive performance, facilitating the transmission of 4K@60Hz video signals with zero latency, audio and control. In the USBC-USBC cable line, the 1m and 2m cables are capable of 100W charging. Seamlessly interfacing with peripheral devices and supporting a wide range of equipment, including 4K Pro AV video cameras, mainstream webcams, soundbars and speakerphones, Lightware s USB-C cables exhibit outstanding compatibility and functionality, enabling users to harness the full potential of USB-C. For longer distances, 8m & 10m AOC USBC-USBC cables are available in Lightware's portfolio. These are 4K@30Hz 4:4:4 with the power delivery of maximum 60W. New cable line lengths with 100W power delivery will be coming soon.
USB-A extender cables incredible flexibility and reliability
Lightware active repeater cables provide extensions of USB 3.0/3.1 Gen 1 over 10m and 16m distances at 5 Gbps SuperSpeed data rate, enabling 4k video transport for PRO AV video cameras and can be used for SSD storage to offer incredible flexibility and reliability for project design by and making these versions ideal for larger collaboration spaces. This avoids the need for bulky repeaters, external power sources or any additional pigtail cabling, instead allowing conduit installations that support elegant interior space design.
Cable adapters/converters ideal for demanding AV setups
Lightware Type-A to Type-C USB cables offer data speeds up to 5Gbps and allow users to connect their devices to Lightware's extenders and switchers. The cable's length of 2m/3m is ideal for most meeting room and presenter's desk applications.
They are suited for a wide range of requirements, including 4K USB cameras or video bars, offering a superior alternative to the cables factories often provide, which may not be long enough or support USB 3.0. The solution supports resolutions up to true 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 for crystal-clear video, and no special driver is required to install, making it ready for easy and immediate use.
At Lightware, we understand that cables are the backbone of any robust AV system. As the bridge between devices, they play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless and reliable data transmission, said Gergely Vida, CEO at Lightware. Our diverse and ever-expanding product range is tailored to meet the unique needs of different applications, and we remain committed to producing solutions that not only meet but exceed industry expectations.
