IRA Tiffen leads a workshop on objectives and filters in Madrid and Barcelona El fabricante Schneider Kreuznach presentar de la mano de Ceproma y Ovide sus ltimas soluciones de la mano de dos referentes de la industria internacional: Ira Tiffen, vicepresidente de la divisi n de Motion Picture Filters en Schneider Optics y el director de fotograf a Andy Wanner.
Los pr ximos 10 y 11 de mayo Schneider Kreuznach, in collaboration with Ceproma and Ovide, organizar un taller gratuito en Madrid y Barcelona sobre objetivos y filtros.
Durante este taller, Ira Tiffen, vicepresidente de la divisi n de Motion Picture Filters en Schneider Optics y el director de fotograf a Andy Wanner hablar n sobre los aspectos t cnicos y art sticos los objetivos y los filtros.
Ser una sesi n muy did ctica en la que orientar n dentro del universo de filtros Schneider, c mo se deber an elegir los objetivos y filtros adecuados para cada producci n, c mo solucionar problemas t cnicos en filtros, y adem s, nos mostrar n las principales novedades de Schneider.
El evento tendr una duraci n de 2 horas, se desarrollar en ingl s y tendr un enfoque did ctico y pr ctico.
Desde finales de 1960, Ira Tiffen ha estado creando y dise ando filtros y efectos importantes para la cinematograf a, como los populares y m s recientes filtros Schneider True-Streak. Su trabajo ha sido reconocido con el Technical Achievement Award de la Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, as como ha recibido un Prime Time Emmy Award de The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
Es miembro asociado de la Sociedad Americana de Cinemat grafos (ASC) desde 1992 y es el autor del cap tulo Filtros de c mara del American Cinematographer Manual desde 1988. En 2002, fue elegido miembro de la Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE).
Hoy contin a desarrollando nuevos filtros pticos que ayudan a los cinemat grafos a contar sus historias con mayor eficacia.
Por su parte, Andreas Andy Wanner, es director de fotograf a y consejero de Schneider. Estudi Media Technology en Alemania y TV Productions and Technology en Gales. Durante sus estudios comenz a trabajar en publicidades, videoclips y en v deos de aventura en empresas como Red Bull y atletas de toda Europa. Hoy contin a en este empe o mientras trabaja como consejero y embajador de Schneider Kreuznach.
