HXR-NX3: the new NXCAM Sony camcorder with image Exmor 3CMOS sensors MP4 recording function, the possibilities of remote control via integrated WiFi and its LED torch make an option the new camcorders to take into account digital journalists and professional videographers.

Professional videographers, the HXR-NX3 allows you to connect with other devices such as Smartphones or tablets with built-in WiFi technology for remote control.
The HXR-NX3 combines the best in goal, sensor technology and LSI to achieve impressive image quality. The sensor system 3CMOS Sony Exmor, composed of three sensors of 1/2, 8 , provides a count of 1920 x 1080 effective pixels Full HD. As a result, the red, blue and green are captured accurately independently by separate image sensors, which contributes to achieving a high resolution, high sensitivity and wide dynamic range that create extraordinary natural color reproduction. The new LSI, including advanced noise reduction and several distortion correction technologies, is responsible for processing images to result in crisp recordings with minimal noise even in low lighting conditions.
The lens Sony Lens G provides excellent image quality, as well as a wide range of zoom that offers a viewing angle of 28.8 mm in the extreme wide angle, with a 20 x optical zoom which allows you to cover most situations of recording without problems.
In addition, the newly developed LSI contains cutting-edge technology "Clear Image Zoom" of 40 increases offering a focal length of 1,152 mm with virtually the same quality as the optical zoom. The LSI also includes advanced noise reduction and several distortion correction technologies to manage the processing of images and significantly improve image quality. As a result, the recorded images are extremely realistic both in what refers to the texture as to detail.
The HXR-NX3 records video in AVCHD 2.0 format, including 1080/50 p, to capture the movement of the subject with naturalness and fluency. 50I and 25 p modes allow that recording can be played in Blu-ray players Disc. The HDMI connector provides 4:2:2 8-bit uncompressed recording and allows users to record stunning images in a generic external video recorder. It also includes the possibility of recording in DV format for users who prefer the workflow of DV and that need to work in a DV-compatible nonlinear editing environment.
Connectivity
In addition to providing benefits to obtain extraordinary image quality, the HXR-NX3 can connect effortlessly with other devices to remotely control or transfer material. Smartphones or tablets can be used with Android (versions 2.3 4.3) and iOS (version 4.3 to 7.0) to control remotely the HXR-NX3 through a WiFi connection, and also transfer video files from the camcorder to a smart phone. This form of remote control allows the reproduction of the material of the camera on your Smartphone screen, the start or stop recording, zoom, iris and touch AF (auto focus) function.
The HXR-NX3 is able to simultaneously record files MP4 for low weight. MP4 (720 p, 3 Mbps) files are an ideal format for sharing in network and can be transferred via wireless from the camcorder to a Smartphone or a tablet with the app for smart phones PlayMemories Mobile. Once transferred, the MP4 files can be loaded to a server in the cloud, in social networks, services for sharing videos and other similar platforms.
The new camcorder has an innovative chip NFC (Near Field Communication) that allows users to establish a Wi-Fi connection simply by touching the camcorder with a Smartphone or a tablet that is compatible with this technology.
In addition, it includes a series of features for greater versatility to record, and to minimize the need for additional equipment. The camcorder can capture images both in slow as fast with Full HD quality, to record images smoothly in slow motion at double speed and 50 times faster images. On the other hand, two slots for brackets allow simultaneous recording on two Simulations mode SD memory cards while the Relay mode automatically switches the recording to the second memory card when the first is full. Two cards can also be controlled independently with two record buttons. This flexible control allows the user to start and stop recording on a memory card, while you continue recording on the other, for recording checks. It also includes a LED torch up the microphone to provide a convenient source of illumination in a variety of recording situations.
Sony Professional Solutions Europe will launch the HXR-NX3/VG1, which includes high quality Sony ECM-VG1 monaural canon microphone. The HXR-NX3/VG1 will be available in Europe at the end of January.
