Schaeffler Konzeptfahrzeug STEP2 behauptet sich erfolgreich bei Silvretta E-Rallye
Getriebe bescheren der Elektromobilit t mehr Reichweite
Auch bei der bereits zum f nften Mal ausgetragenen E-Auto Rallye im Montafon vom 03. bis 05. Juli 2014 war Schaeffler mit einem Elektrofahrzeug am Start. Nach einem Prototypen mit elektrischer Achse (2012) und dem Fiesta E-Wheel drive mit elektrischem Radnabenantrieb (2013) war das Team um Uwe Wagner, Leiter F&E Automotive bei Schaeffler, dieses Mal mit dem Schaeffler STEP2 unterwegs. Hierbei handelt es sich um ein reines Elektrofahrzeug mit einem Antrieb der Schaeffler-Tochter IDAM und einem Zweigang-Lastschaltgetriebe.
Bei dem vom Fachmagazin auto, motor und sport initiierten Wettbewerb auf den Traumstra en des Montafon und Vorarlbergs kam es nicht auf h chste Geschwindigkeit, sondern auf h chste Effizienz an. Effizienz ist auch die Triebfeder f r die Verkn pfung eines Elektroantriebs mit einem Getriebe. Mit einer Schaltung zwischen zwei G ngen, einer kurzen bersetzung f r hohe Zugkraft und einer langen f r gute Gesamtwirkungsgrade auch bei h heren Fahrgeschwindigkeiten, bieten wir eine h here Dynamik und gleichzeitig erreichen wir h here elektrische Reichweiten , so das Fazit von Wagner.
Bei Simulationen und Fahrerprobungen erzielte das Konzeptfahrzeug STEP2 bereits einen deutlichen Verbrauchsvorteil (als Energieentnahme aus der Batterie) von rund sechs Prozent gegen ber einem vergleichbaren Fahrzeug mit nur einem Gang. Als Basis f r den STEP2 fungiert ein Gro serien-Kompaktwagen. Die Schaeffler Ingenieure entfernten den Verbrennungsmotor, das manuelle Sechsgang-Getriebe und den Kraftstofftank. Dar ber hinaus wurde die Vorderachse modifiziert. R der, Bremssystem und das Lenksystem wurden im Originalzustand belassen. Der Elektromotor kommt von der Schaeffler-Tochter IDAM (INA - Drives & Mechatronics GmbH & Co. KG), dem Spezialisten f r Direktantriebstechnologie. Als Elektrofahrzeug wird der Schaeffler STEP2 nun von einem Elektromotor angetrieben, der ber ein Getriebe mit zwei bersetzungen angekoppelt werden kann. Das Getriebe besteht aus einem Planetensatz, einer nassen Lamellenkupplung, einer Bandbremse und einem Leichtbaudifferential. Durch wechselseitiges Schlie en von Bremse und Kupplung werden die bersetzungen vom ersten beziehungsweise vom zweiten Gang im Getriebe dargestellt. Die Fahrzeugbatterie sitzt an Stelle des Kraftstofftanks und Abgasstrangs unterhalb der Fahrgastzelle. Der Schaeffler STEP2 hat eine Systemleistung von bis zu 70kW (Peak) und 50kW dauerhaft.
Auf den drei Tagesetappen konnten die Schaeffler Ingenieure aus dem Bereich E-Mobilit t weitere Erkenntnisse im alpinen Realverkehr sammeln und im Feld der mittlerweile zumeist serienm igen Elektro-Automobile zeigen, dass sich durch den Einsatz eines Getriebes noch einmal effizienter mit Kilowatt, Volt und Ampere haushalten l sst. Der Bereich E-Mobilit t bei Schaeffler besch ftigt sich mit der Entwicklung von L sungen f r alle zuk nftigen Mobilit tskonzepte und leistet mit der Forschungs- und Entwicklungsarbeit f r und gemeinsam mit den Kunden einen wertvollen Beitrag zur Mobilit t von morgen.
