Corporate Fundraising Pack

Mother's Day Fundraiser

On Mother's Day we celebrate all the amazing women who nurture a child into the world and raise it with unconditional love. Many of the children and young people Kids Company supports have not had the same loving experience and in many cases, have taken on the role of mother themselves due to their parents' own challenges. But through the invaluable role of the keyworker, Kids Company aims to provide a maternal figure to thousands who do not have a reliable adult in their lives. We act as an additional or substitute parent, supporting families struggling to cope. We take them to the Doctor's if they're sick, we talk to their school if they're in trouble, and we provide them with proper clothes, food to eat and a bed to sleep in. Crucially, we make sure they have somebody to talk to and turn to, someone who really cares and won't give up on them. Our children are at the centre of everything we do and we cocoon them with unrelenting love.

Scarlet and Violet

We are bloomin' (pun intended!) delighted that London-based florist Scarlet and Violet is supporting us this Mother's Day. For every £35 Sweetie Jar of flowers sold on 14th/15th March, £10 will be donated to Kids Company. Vic Brotherson, founder of Scarlet and Violet says, I think it's really important to give back, and we're in the lucky position that we're able to collaborate with charities that we believe make a real difference to people's lives, so it just seemed natural for us this Mother's Day to work with Kids Company, a great cause that makes a difference in London.' Kids Company will be holding an online raffle in association with The Economist's Intelligent Life magazine.

Nine leading fashion and interior designers recently featured in the magazine, have each donated something amazing which could be yours if you are lucky enough to be a winner! Prizes include a gorgeous leather Bally overnight bag, a hand crafted rug by the Rug Company and aVintage Ercol chair, hand-painted by Liberty designers

Year of the Bus Auction

You now have the chance to own a piece of the Bus Trail! The auction is currently online and will be live until noon on Tuesday 24th March 2015. Then the highest bidders will be alerted by email that they could take place in an exciting live auction event, either in person or online at 7pm on the 24th March. There are 60 buses each were Painted and adorned by well-known and aspiring artists. The sculptures feature a wide variety of designs including ones based around iconic London landmarks such as Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, artwork featuring the designs of Cath Kidston and Orla Kiely, and even one of the Queen's Guard complete with faux bearskin hat. So have your paddles at the ready! All the funds raised by the auction will be split between Kids Company, London Transport Museum and Transaid.

Pico Aneto - Pyrenees

Event Dates: Friday 23 May - Sunday 25 May

Registration Fee: TBC but around £290.00

Join Kids Company in our attempt to conquer the highest peak in the Pyrenees at 3404m!

A two-day spring ascent promises glorious weather and a sprinkling of snow cover on the glacier, meaning ice axes, crampons and ropes will be necessary for the exhilarating climb. The final ascent will begin by torchlight as we head for the gullies and then on to the eventual steep, airy traverse to the peak. This challenge is not for the faint-hearted, but it is well worth the effort for the magnificent views and the immense feeling of achievement you'll be rewarded with as you conquer the highest peak in the Pyrenees.

Superhero Fun Run - Regent's Park

Event Date: Sunday 17 May

A great fun run in the beautiful Regent's Park. You can choose to run either 5K or 10K and all runners receive a FREE superhero outfit!
