Start the event about the most important 5G in Spain The fourth edition of the 5G Forum, el evento espec fico sobre el 5G m s importante de Espa a, que ha ampliado su agenda a tres d as para dar cabida a las multinacionales, proyectos pilotos y ayuntamientos l deres en el despliegue de esta nueva tecnolog a en las 17 comunidades aut nomas. El 5G Forum, organizado por Medina Media Events which has Panorama Audiovisual como media partner, reunir del May 4-6 a 68 ponentes, en 35 presentaciones y 7 paneles. El encuentro ser inaugurado por el Secretario de Estado de Telecomunicaciones, Roberto Sanchez, que explicar la Strategy for the deployment of 5G in Spain y c mo se repartir n los fondos europeos para la recuperaci n econ mica.
El objetivo del 5G Forum es actualizar anualmente la situaci n del 5G en Espa a, invitando a todos los agentes implicados en su implantaci n para tener una visi n general de los avances conseguidos y del lugar que ocupa Espa a en el mundo.
The agenda also has the participation of the European Commission (que explicar la ruta propuesta para la transici n del 5G al 6G en 2030), la European Broadcasting Union (UER-Eurovisi n) y el 5G National Observatory, adem s de las principales multinacionales tecnol gicas del mundo.
Multinacionales de Estados Unidos, China y Europa se han sumado a esta cuarta edici n del 5G Forum, la segunda virtual tras las dos primeras presenciales en el Polo Nacional de Contenidos Digitales de M laga.
El evento tambi n contar con presentaciones de grandes empresas Tech espa olas, que mostrar n todo el m sculo que tienen en el despliegue de la tecnolog a 5G en un mercado de 47 millones de consumidores y que ha situado a Espa a entre los pa ses l deres en Europa en esta nueva tecnolog a del futuro.
El Ministerio de Asuntos Econ micos y Transformaci n Digital, a trav s de Red.es, aprob en 2019 dos grandes pilotos 5G (Vodafone en Andaluc a y Telef nica en Galicia), y en julio de 2020 aprob otros 8 pilotos en diferentes comunidades aut nomas (Andaluc a, Castilla-La Mancha, Catalu a, Madrid, Comunidad Valenciana, Extremadura, Galicia y Euskadi). Los pilotos 5G m s importantes estar n presentes en el 5G Forum 2021.
En esta edici n, el 5G Forum ha abierto un bloque para que los City councils puedan dar a conocer a la comunidad tecnol gica espa ola los avances que est n haciendo en clave 5G, como los de Sevilla (con su alcalde Juan Espadas a la cabeza), M laga (con todos los proyectos lanzados desde el Polo de Contenidos Digitales) y Marbella (la primera ciudad espa ola con todo su territorio ya cubierto por el 5G), junto con la Junta de Andaluc a, a trav s de su Consejer a de Transformaci n Econ mica, Industria, Conocimiento y Universidades.
Adem s, universities como la Polit cnica de Valencia, la Polit cnica de Catalu a (Nearby Computing), la Carlos III de Madrid (Team Up 5G), la Universidad de M laga (5Genesis) y la Universidad de Sevilla tambi n acuden al 5G FORUM para dar visibilidad a sus proyectos sobre el 5G.
Las sesiones de la cuarta edici n del 5G Forum tendr n lugar el martes 4, mi rcoles 5 y jueves 6 de mayo entre las 9:00 de la ma ana y las 15:00 horas. Tras las sesiones se celebrar n exclusivos webinars, sesiones de Preguntas y Respuestas con los ponentes y videoreuniones entre los asistentes. Adem s, habr m s de 20 demos disponibles de forma permanente.
Tambi n habr redifusiones para los asistentes de Latinoam rica y de otras partes del mundo. Y las ponencias quedar n disponibles en la plataforma del 5G Forum Virtual para poder verse bajo demanda (VOD) seg n se emitan.
