All monitored, with Volicon, and NAB 2013 Observer 7.1, Observer Mobile, MONITORING loudness and digital program insertion are some of the solutions presented at NAB Volicon 2013.

Among the solutions Volicon takes this year to Las Vegas stands Observer TS 7.1, Observer Mobile, TV monitoring modules and loudness and digital inclusion program (DPI).

Release 7.1 of Observer has recently been improved to accommodate a greater number of inputs, with ASI interface support, QAM, 8-VSB, DVB-t MPEG TS. Available in all systems Observer TS, including Enterprise, Pro y Scout, the new interface simplifies the deployment and configuration to receive regular channels.

Observer Mobile provides users with access to content anywhere, at any time, via iPad or iPhone. Designed specifically for media executives wherever they go, interface offers the best flexibility, Live portability and access to transmission, together with an extra navigation previously recorded content from local or remote locations.

Within the modules Volicon in NAB show also highlights the MONITORING realtime loudness, also provides a declaration of conformity to standards bodies and advertisers. The special attention is estye module for beam downmix HD channel program 5.1, which ensures that the levels of acceptable parameters. The Observer loundess module allows users to measure AC3 dialnorm levels straight and ensure compliance with ITU BS.1770-1 and ITU BS.1770-2, ATSC A/85 RP 2011, CALM Act (FCC Report 11-182A1), EBU R128 (Tech 3341/2/3/4), and ARIB TR-B32.

Another module highlighting in Las Vegas is the Digital Program Insertion (DPI) digital program insertion. With Observer 7.1, MONITORING Volicon introduced for SCTE-35 and SCTE-104, TS Observer signaling messages and SDI systems Observer, respectively. The new module allows monitoriado DPI, record and display content frames, with metadata and points of entry and exit markers needed to determine whether the messages were transmitted correctly DPI.

With the DPI, Volicon measure eliminates the necessity of transmission of a transport stream analyzer in depth and to calculate the frame in which the insertion occurs. Consequently, up technical teams can monitor and troubleshoot transmission signals to ensure correct insertion ads.
