Next week's SVG Summit will once again feature the Sports Content Management Workshop , which will take place on Dec. 16 from 1:30 4:15 p.m. ET. This workshop is designed for SVG members and sponsors looking to learn about the latest developments in media-asset-management (MAM), archive and storage technology, content migration, and cloud-based workflows. The program will feature sessions addressing Best Practices in Migration and The State of Archiving Technology, as well as an Esports Spotlight focused on Blizzard Entertainment and a case study from Syracuse University.

The Sports Content Management Workshop will feature MAM leaders from the ACC (Atlantic Athletic Conference), Blizzard Entertainment, MLB Network, NHL, Syracuse University, Turner Sports and more offering first-hand perspectives and behind-the-curtain looks at their respective workflows. The SCM workshop is a can't-miss event for anyone looking to build an efficient content-management and storage/archiving infrastructure, as well as to stay up-to-date on the latest technological developments in this vital industry sector.
In 2019, the SVG Summit marks its 14th year as the place to be for those involved in any aspect of sports production, content creation, or distribution. Once again it will bring together more than 1,000 industry professionals from across the country and around the world for two full days of networking, panel discussions, and more!
The event will be highlighted by informative workshop tracks covering a wide range of industry market segments and production disciplines. There will also be a general session track on Tuesday, Dec. 17 that will bring together the biggest names in sports TV for lively panel discussions.
