Invictus Entertainment produces indie comedy using AJA Kumo 1616-12G Las comedias indie The Tony Baker Show and Keep Your Distance, Presented by KevOnStage, que fueron transmitidas en directo a audiencias remotas en 1080p en todo el mundo, emplearon en su producci n un flujo de trabajo con Aja Kumo 1616-12G como n cleo para el enrutamiento de se ales SDI. Las dos producciones, bajo la direcci n de Transit Pictures, con la participaci n de Invictus Entertainment y el director t cnico Arthur Khoshaba, fueron dos de los especiales de comedia indie m s vistos durante el COVID-19, con una media de 8.000-15.000 espectadores por episodio.
En total se emitieron 20 programas en directo entre julio de 2020 y abril de 2021, ayudando a aligerar el estado de nimo de los fans en casa durante los confinamientos por la pandemia.
Para llevar las actuaciones c micas en directo a casa de los espectadores, el flujo de trabajo del espect culo implic un equipo de vMix personalizado desarrollado por Khoshaba para cambiar en directo entre cinco c maras canon C300 Mark II. El equipo vMix contaba con ocho entradas 12G-SDI para se ales de v deo y audio de gran ancho de banda.
Durante el desarrollo del flujo de trabajo del programa, Khoshaba necesitaba una soluci n de enrutamiento que permitiera la visi n m ltiple de las cinco c maras para el director de fotograf a y los equipos de iluminaci n y sonido. Dado que los espect culos se rodaron por la noche en un escenario al aire libre, el director de fotograf a y el director hab an ajustado meticulosamente las c maras y los ajustes de exposici n para seguir el sol y amplificar la iluminaci n al caer la noche.
Para unificar el aspecto en todas las c maras bajo condiciones de iluminaci n cambiantes, un router permitir a al director de fotograf a y a los miembros del equipo pasar por cada aspecto y ver las c maras sobre la marcha durante los rodajes en directo para mantener el color y la coherencia. Khoshaba seleccion un Kumo 1616-12G de AJA para realizar el enrutamiento en directo para el multic mara de las diferentes se ales.
En mi opini n, AJA ofrece el mejor enrutamiento 12G del mercado, y siempre he sido un gran fan de los equipos de AJA , afirma Khoshaba. Cuando empec en la industria hace m s de una d cada, el primer equipo que utilic en un programa fue un grabador AJA Ki Pro. A d a de hoy, ese Ki Pro sigue en uso, y se ha utilizado en miles de espect culos a lo largo de los ltimos 10 a os .
Gran flexibilidad Durante las actuaciones de mon logos en directo, el Kumo 1616-12G proporcion al equipo la flexibilidad necesaria para dirigir las se ales de la c mara a diferentes lugares del plat para ayudar a capturar im genes de la m xima calidad. Aunque ambas series de comedia se filmaron en 1080p debido a las condiciones del set en exteriores, Khoshaba est equipado para escalar el flujo de trabajo y capturar 4K 60p para futuras producciones utilizando el KUMO 1616-12G, que soporta la m s alta trama de im genes 4K/UltraHD sobre 12G-SDI.
Antes de que llegara la COVID-19, no hab a muchas producciones peque as o independientes que entregaran contenidos en 4K. Lo ve amos venir desde hace a os, ya que el 4K hab a sido ampliamente adoptado por las producciones de estudios de gama alta, pero COVID-19 desencaden un salto tecnol gico. Lo mejor de todo es que, con el Kumo 1616-12G, mi flujo de trabajo est preparado para el futuro y puedo afrontar proyectos m s grandes. Durante los espect culos en directo tambi n puedo estar tranquilo sabiendo que el equipo AJA, fiable y de confianza, se encarga del enrutamiento , a ade Khoshaba.
