PHABRIX is the one to watch at IBC. Innovation, innovation, innovation PHABRIX will be presenting a new technology demonstration of 4K on stand Hall 8 E40 at IBC this year. In a change to its normal stand design, PHABRIX have added a new office where visitors will be able to discuss the PHABRIX technical view of 4K support across multiple formats and frame rates.

Recognised world-wide for its innovative test and measurement products, PHABRIX will be showing its portable PHABRIX SxE with eye and jitter analysis and a new A/V delay toolset across the Sx series.

PHABRIX s newest entry level hand held, the TAG, has been a huge success following its release earlier in the year. New at IBC is the TAG s support for PAL M and N formats alongside, SD, HD and 3G- SDI standards, a perfect product for complete format testing within broadcast infrastructures. The TAG provides a range of interfaces including analogue, SDI and optical and can be upgraded to include a fully functional generator across all standards with a simple password entry after purchase. The low entry price of the product allows customers to purchase the standard instrument then add further toolsets out in the field as required. The TAG provides an SFP cage for optical SFP s and copper BNC s so fibre networks and copper networks are fully supported. The generator and analyzer can be operated simultaneously at different standards and through different interfaces in SDI - out optical!

The Rx modular rack system continues to be enhanced with features. With its ability to monitor up to 8 channels, 4 simultaneously, the Rx 2000 dual screen, the Rx1000 and half rack Rx500 rasterizers each offer 1920 x 1080 HDMI/SDI monitor output. A multi instrument success story with 16 instruments all working on a single screen and gaining customers who need a sophisticated QC solution all controlled by single press presets.

New at IBC for the Rx is increased support for WSS/VI/AFD and closed captions. PHABRIX s four simultaneous inputs of closed captioning to provide separated views for 608 and 708 is welcomed by the industry and at IBC further features are on show.

As a leading broadcast test and measurement manufacturer, PHABRIX will be highlighting its advanced support for audio on the Rx platform, particularly Dolby. All products now support Dolby E, Dolby D and Dolby Digital Plus with the Rx range offering full decode of two Dolby streams simultaneously.
