The IABM (International Association of Broadcasting Manufacturers) is once again hosting its Annual NAB State of the Industry Breakfast at this year's NAB Show in Las Vegas in April. The session is taking place on 07 April at 07h30 and includes the presentation of key data regarding the business climate as well as a panel debate.

At the start of the session, Peter White, IABM chief executive, will deliver an overall view of the trends, challenges and opportunities that organisations within our industry are faced with from key business intelligence gathered by the organisation together with findings from the latest end-user research conducted by the organisation. White will also present excerpts from the recently published, highly sought after IABM DC Global Market Valuation Report,

This will be followed by a panel debate on the most pressing issues facing the industry at the moment. It will be chaired by John Ive, director of business development and technology at the IABM, and includes the CEOs from a host of established media technology companies, such as Brian Cram from Dejero Labs, Carl Dempsey of Wohler Technologies, Marco Lopez from Miranda, and Charlie Vogt of Imagine Communications.

The broadcast and media industry is changing at pace, and will continue to do so, says White. The last year particularly has been characterised by change as several organisations have restructured in order to better position themselves within the market and adopt new business models.

The market intelligence that we're presenting in the first part of the session will detail the market growth and financial performance, providing an insight into the current state of affairs, as well as industry sentiment in order to provide a comprehensive understanding of this phenomenal shift in mind set.
