New Features in EVO Shared Storage Help Teams Get the Most Out of DaVinci Resolve 15

We've always focused on helping teams collaborate more effectively, so naturally, we wanted to make sure our customers could take full advantage of Resolve's latest features.

By hosting a DaVinci Resolve PostgreSQL database on an EVO shared storage server, editors can seamlessly access their projects and media from any connected workstation in the facility without having to copy or export projects for each user. Having a shared database is essential for Resolve's collaboration features, which enable editors, colorists, VFX artists, animators and audio engineers to work together simultaneously inside the same project.

ShareBrowser, EVO's integrated media asset management software, also helps Resolve users get the most out of the file management and organizational tools inside Resolve 15. Editors, assistants, and other collaborators can log clips using custom tags and comments in the ShareBrowser client or web app, then quickly export media and metadata directly into a project.
