Fencing at the Olympics demands a dramatic place to hold the event. In recent Games, the drama has been achieved with theatrical-style lighting and effects. This year's fencing competitions are being held in Paris's Grand Palais, a venue that needs no lighting or effects for a dramatic look and feel.
