ATTO Technology Sponsors Avid Customer Association Inaugural Event, Avid Connect 2014 Continuing to help drive the future of the professional media industry Amherst, NY (March 31, 2014) - ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of storage, network connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments for more than 25 years, today announced its sponsorship of Avid Connect 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada, April 4 through April 6.
The inaugural event of the Avid Customer Association (ACA) will take place at the Bellagio hotel, just prior to the annual National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) show. The ACA is a multifaceted program designed to engage with broadcast, creative and media customers, with the objective of addressing the most important issues facing the media industry today.
Run by and for the professional media community, Avid Connect will address the most pressing issues, from media creation, to distribution and consumption. Celerity Fibre Channel HBAs are designed to cover the full performance spectrum from enterprise to workgroup, and server to workstation environments. This highly integrated family of adapters is engineered to optimize data transfer using a combination of features that enhance the data delivery process. ATTOs Celerity Gen 5 Powered 16Gb Fibre Channel quad-channel HBAs, the first of its kind in the market, address the high bandwidth needs of Linux and Windows platforms in high performance computing, virtualization, and are also tunable for high IOP environments typically found in enterprise data centers.
For over 20 years, ATTOs RAID technology has provided no-compromise solutions with the highest performance and data integrity. ATTOs ExpressSAS RAID Adapters provide high performance data protection to direct attached SAS and SATA JBOD storage. Optimized for extremely low latency and high-bandwidth data transfer, the wide variety of port configurations and RAID levels offer flexibility for the most demanding applications. Additionally, features such as DriveAssure extend the life of drives in a system and provide 100% throughput even during rebuilds, ensuring maximum uptime and productivity, and reducing maintenance costs.
ATTO ThunderLink and ThunderStream Desklink Devices enable todays small form factor and mobile platforms to connect into high performance storage and networks, including SAS, SATA, Fibre Channel or Ethernet infrastructures. ATTO ThunderLink and ThunderStream products are focused on applications where performance and latency management are essential. With Desklink connectivity, creative, engineering and scientific professionals that utilize all-in-one systems and mobile workbooks now have access to high performance storage and networks at speeds not previously available.
A live demonstration of ATTOs recently introduced Thunderbolt 2 Technology-Enabled ThunderLink Desklink Devices will also be showcased at the ATTO Booth SL7613 at the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nevada April 7 through April 10.
