Talented actress Samkelo Ndlovu who is popularly known for playing Lerato in Rhythm City says she fell in love with her Adulting role as Minky.

SAMKELO NDLOVU:'I WAS ATTRACTRED TO MINKY'S TRANSPARENCY' The former Rhythm City actress Samkelo Ndlovu tells Sowetan that she was attracted to the Adulting character, Minky because of her transparency.
I said yes to the role mainly because I was drawn to Minky's transparency. I am more drawn to people who are looking inward, and it gives me great pleasure knowing that I can portray that on a revolutionary show which aims to tell the everyday South African.
The popular actress adds that it took a day or two for her to know whether she wanted to take the role or not as her initial reaction was: Is this what they want her to do?

The 33-year-old star also reveals that she fell in love with the role when she understood Minky more and the role came to her.
Minky is quite the fireball, she's loud, easily jealous and doesn't know how to get ahold of her emotions. She can't wait for people to watch me portray her because they've never seen me in this way.

ADULTING': BACKGROUND Adulting follows the life of four male friends: Nhlanhla Kunene, who plays Eric, Luthando BU Mthembu as Vuyani, Thembinkosi Mthembu as Bonga, and Thabo Rammusi as Mpho.
The Showmax series takes us on a rollercoaster journey as we watch them take on life with different goals, objectives and challenges.
The series looks at the perspective that modern-day men face and the challenges they face as they are on the quest of finding true love and success while also leaning on one another for moral support and love.
It's produced by Tshedza Pictures, the production company responsible for The River, Gqeberha: The Empire and The Republic, etc.
