Start the 44th Edition of the International Film Festival of Huesca El certamen se inicia con el Premio Ciudad de Huesca para la realizadora aragonesa Paula Ortiz. Pilar Mart nez-Vasseur, directora del Festival de Cine Espa ol de Nantes, recibir tambi n el premio Pepe Escriche.
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca inicia su 44 edici n este viernes 17 de junio. Un total de 79 cortometrajes provenientes de 24 pa ses competir n hasta el pr ximo 25 de junio por obtener el Premio Danzante , un galard n que les abra las puertas de la preselecci n a los Oscar.
Con una programaci n diversa y multidisciplinar, la ciudad se volcar durante 9 d as con el s ptimo arte. La realizadora aragonesa Paula Ortiz recibir el Premio Ciudad de Huesca como reconocimiento a su trayectoria y proyecci n durante la ceremonia de inauguraci n; tambi n, Pilar Mart nez-Vasseur, directora del Festival de Cine Espa ol de Nantes, ser homenajeada con el Premio Pepe Escriche. Otro de los hitos del certamen llegar el pr ximo mi rcoles 22 cuando el doble premio Oscar, el guionista Jean-Claude Carri re, recoja el Premio Luis Bu uel.
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca arranca su edici n n mero 44 cargado de proyecciones, actividades, homenajes y espect culos pero siempre con su esencia, el cortometraje, como hilo conductor. La Secci n Oficial a concurso estar compuesta por un total de 79 obras provenientes de 24 piases que competir n durante 9 d as por alzarse con el Premio Danzante que les d acceso a la preselecci n de los Oscar.
La realizadora zaragozana Paula Ortiz ser una de las grandes protagonistas de la jornada inaugural al ser reconocida con el Premio Ciudad de Huesca, una distinci n que alaba su trayectoria al mismo tiempo que apuesta por su gran proyecci n. Junto a la directora de The bride, otra aragonesa, la jaquesa Pilar Mart nez-Vasseur, ser homenajeada con el Premio Pepe Escriche. Mart nez-Vasseur, directora del Festival de Cine Espa ol de Nantes, atesora un gran conocimiento de la industria cinematogr fica en nuestro pa s.
Este a o, adem s de las proyecciones mixtas en el Teatro Olimpia de las tres competiciones (Internacional, Iberoamericana y Documental), el certamen contar con cuatro estrenos de largometrajes dentro de un ciclo especial para Nuevos Realizadores . Destaca la superproducci n espa ola Gernika que llegar al festival antes de su estreno en salas en octubre. Adem s, Koldo Serra y Jos Alba, director y productor del film, acudir n a la cita el martes 21. Dentro de esta secci n tambi n podr verse el largometraje Best Friends, del aragon s Carlos Val, The thin yellow line, primer largometraje del mexicano Celso Garc a producido por Guillermo del Toro, y Dr. Angelita, pera prima de Helena Tritek que cuenta con Norma Leandro y Chino Dar n en el reparto.
Otro de los hitos destacados del Festival ser la entrega del Premio Luis Bu uel el mi rcoles 22 de junio. Un galard n que distingue este a o al guionista, director y Oscar de honor 2014 Jean-Claude Carri re. La gala contar adem s con la proyecci n de LHeureux Anniversaire, Oscar al Mejor Cortometraje en 1962, y el documental Carri re, 250 Metros de Juan Carlos Rulfo, donde se repasa toda su trayectoria que lo han llevado a trabajar con algunos de los m s grandes del cine como Bu uel, Godard o Costa Gavras.
Adem s, durante la 44 edici n del festival, habr multitud de actividades programadas para todos los p blicos que inundar n la ciudad de cine. Por ejemplo, la propuesta de Gastrocine que combinar cortometrajes de tem tica culinaria con un excelente men preparado por el chef Rub n Pertusa, la secci n Mayores al Festival , que acercar diversos cortometrajes a distintas residencias de mayores de la ciudad o Todos los ni os al festival , que reunir a m s de 1.000 ni os en el emblem tico teatro oscense.
