Familia is the first movie in Spanish by acclaimed Colombian-Mexican filmmaker Rodrigo Garc a (Raymond & Ray), who has imprinted his ambitious personal stamp on a universal story, starring Daniel Gim nez Cacho (BARDO, False Chronicle of a Handful of Truths), Ilse Salas (The Good Girls), Cassandra Ciangherotti (Thursday's Widows), Natalia Soli n (Huesera), and Maribel Verd (Pan's Labyrinth), among others. Produced by Gerardo Gatica (Museo, I'm No Longer Here) and Pablo Zimbr n (Ready to Mingle, Tragic Jungle), written by Garc a himself and B rbara Colio.

SYNOPSIS: Every month, Leo's family joins him at his olive ranch in the Guadalupe Valley. His daughters Rebeca, Julia, and Mariana come to visit their father and younger brother Benny, who has Down syndrome. At lunch, Leo shares the news of a possible buyer who has made a significant offer for the ranch. The family has but a few days to decide if they are willing to sell the place where they grew up and that holds the memories of their dead mother.
