Scandal! Actor, Brighton Ngoma, who plays the role of Quinton Nyathi recently opened up to about his character's recent memory loss.

Ngoma, who's been playing the role of Quinton Nyathi for a decade, was in a tragic accident which led to his memory loss this week. He has no recollection of his daughter, Jewel, and he thinks that he and his baby's mother Dintle Nyathi (Mapaseka Koetle-Nyokong) are married.

The actor told TshisaLIVE that it was challenging to play the role of someone with memory loss as he's played the role for the last decade.

You know, I have played this character for the last 10 years. So 10 years of playing this character and then suddenly forgetting all the people and the world that you have. It was quite a challenge, Ngoma said.

Ngoma also told viewers, that may be going through the same thing, that there's no overnight cure or solution.

There are no quick fixes like a slap on the head and suddenly your memory comes back.

QUINTON EXPECTED TO REGAIN HIS MEMORY According to the August teasers on TVSA, Ngoma who plays Quinton, will regain some of his memory on Thursday (26 August), however, Dintle will not be happy about this because she wants to use him for his money. She needs an investor for her company Scandal TV which recently lost investors.

Viewers should also expect Dintle and Quinton's mother, Layla Mackenzie (Natasha Sutherland), to be at loggerheads. Layla doesn't want Dintle to use Quinton like all the Nyathi men she's used in the past.
