Noisey Presents: Ceremony, Iron Lung, and Nothing

Vices music blog Noisey is bringing us some pretty noisy bands at the Brooklyn Night Bazaar this weekend. Punk/Grindcore bands Ceremony, Iron Lung, and NOTHING will be playing some mosh-worthy tunes so come on out and get your head-banging on.

Kickstarter Film Festival 2014

Fort Greene Park at 7 PM

Kickstarter is quickly changing the lives of creatives everywhere with its crowdfunding platform. Movies like Wish I Was Here and Obvious Child were just a few out of many that benefitted from Kickstarter, and this Friday so many other films will be showcased at the Kickstarter Film Festival! Come out to Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn with a picnic blanket, and celebrate all that Kickstarters done for filmmaking.

Midnight Screening of Back to the Future

This Friday you can join Marty McFly and the gang, and travel back to 1985, and then again to 1955, as he tries to fix the past and avoid all the sticky situations that come with it.

New Museum Block Party

Hold onto your butts! Videology is bringing you Jurassic Park bingo this weekend with trivia, character impressions, and prizes! This Spielberg classic is turning 21 this year, so come out and celebrate with other JP enthusiasts.

True Grit at South Street Seaport

Front Row is bringing us True Grit this weekend as part of its free outdoor screening special! Come and watch this Coen brothers classic, as the badass Mattie Ross (Hailee Steinfeld) teams up with US marshall Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges) to go and find the killer of her father.

Brasil Summerfest 2014

If youre still lamenting Brasils loss in the World Cup, youll be happy to know that nothing can keep the Brazillians down by going to Brasil Summerfest 2014! The summer festival is running from July 18-26, and this Sunday is featuring Brazillian singer Baby Do Brazil- one of Brazils leading pop singers.
