7 Beilun Enterprises Go Public Togeer at NBEE

On the afternoon of Jan. 12th, drums blared in the Ningbo Equity Exchange (NBEE) where 17 enterprises from Beilun District, Ningbo, were holding their joint celebrating ceremony for their listing. The companies going public engaged in various fields including mechanical manufacturing, information technology, new materials, culture and media, etc. District leader Teng Anda attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Teng extended his congratulation to the successfully listed enterprises on behalf of the district government and expressed his gratitude to the NBEE for the firm support it showed towards the Beilun enterprises. Speaking of the march into the capital market of the district's companies, Teng said: In recent years, Beilun has deemed it a work fundamental to the reginal economic development and industrial transformation to facilitate corporate floatation. In its effort to advance the work comprehensively, it has combined promotional campaign, policy guidance and individualized service. In the past five years, we have 6 firms listed on the A-shares market, 1 that has secured the approval of China Securities Regulatory Commission and 13 that have already started making preparations. Meanwhile, a number of excellent firms qualified have also gone pulic in multi-level capital markets like the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ) and the NBEE. So far, we have in total 69 firms listed at the NBEE, which fully demonstrated the strong will of our enterprises to expand through the capital market. The NBEE is part and parcel of the multi-level national capital market. For many local firms, it's friendlier in terms of the requirements for intermediary interference, business transparency or the like. The tempering by the NBEE can lay a solid foundation for companies' IPO as well as their future floatation at the NEEQ. Today's successful listing served as a good start. I hope our entrepreneurs will keep up and, regarding it as a new starting point, take a step further in standardizing management and reforming operation, so as to achieve leapfrog growth with the aid of the capital market. At the same time, I also hope that you can share your experience as regards the listing with your business friends and make progress together in the preparatory class' for the capital market, added Teng. In the ceremony, some enterprises are technology startups. They showed active participation on the proving ground of the capital market. Wo Tianbin, general manager of Ningbo BinCube Technologies, voiced his belief in the high quality service of the NBEE. And Yu Yueping, general manager of Ningbo Invent Technologies, expressed his hope to enhance the competitiveness of his company and secure a firm footing amongst its domestic and foreign peers by first achieving largescale production through angel investment, private equity and the like. It's suggested that later Beilun will further improve communication with the NBEE, striving for more intense and extensive cooperation in pursuit of greater corporate participation in capital market.
