Former The Queen actress Motsoaledi Mo Setumo, who plays the role of Naledi's sister Tshedi in The Wife, says in reality people should be able to go with who they really love.

MOTSOLEDI SETUMO: I HOPE NO ONE RELATES TO MY CHARACTER' The talented actress Motsoaledia Mo Setumo's character Tshedi in The Wife is a villain who's betrayed her sister Naledi (played by House of Zwide actress Gaisang Noge).

Tshedi who has proven to be a snake would do anything to be the next in line to be the regent of the family, including planting a secret camera to release a sex tape to ruin Naledi and Qhawe's reputation. u

Setumo, who is the older daughter of Kgosi and Naledi's older sister was never as smart as Naledi from an early age, according to Sunday World.

She is jealous of her younger sister Naledi, who is a doctor and their father Kgosi's (Sello Motloung) favourite.

TSHEDI IN THE WIFE' The actress and radio personality Motsoaledia Setumo reveals in an interview with Sunday World that what makes her character Tshedi interesting is the fact that she's layered, she's always scheming and you never know what she has up her sleeve.

I hope no one relates to my character because if you do, and you're an older sister, then you're a problem. Tshedi is a problem for Naledi, for her dad and so I hope you don't relate, she said.

You know how parents always make the older siblings feel like they are the parents and the youngest are the favourite ones? Parents need to start loving their children the same and treat them equally. That way, they won't have a Tshedi situation.

I also think people should be able to go with who they really love. They shouldn't be told who to love. So, Naledi should go with who she loves, and that's Mo speaking.

Setumo does not believe Sefako (Stoane Seate) is a better match for Naledi, because if she marries Sefako, Tshedi won't get what she wants.
