ATTO Technology Highlights Certified Server Solutions at Dell World 2013 Austin, TX (December 11, 2013) - ATTO Technology, Inc., a global leader of storage, network connectivity and infrastructure solutions for data-intensive computing environments, today announced that it will show its fully certified, next-generation connectivity solutions for Dell rack server environments at Dell World 2013 in Austin, Texas, December 11 through December 13. Located in booth #408 in the Dell Technical Partner Pavilion, ATTO will highlight the recent certification of their FastFrame 10Gb Ethernet Optical Network Interface Cards (NICs) and Celerity Gen 5 16Gb Fibre Channel Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) with the Dell PowerEdge R620 and R720 rack servers.

Dell World 2013 is a terrific platform for ATTO to highlight our newly certified products, available directly through Dell and certified VARs, which feature technology differentiators designed to provide faster time to data, analytics and critical business decisions. Dells latest generation of the PowerEdge family is engineered with the right combination of features and performance scalability to handle tough workloads for both large and small data center environments. The PowerEdge R620 rack server is a hyper-dense, two-socket, 1U rack server that has a large memory footprint and impressive I/O options to make it exceptional for space-sensitive environments. The PowerEdge R720 rack server was built to run complex workloads using highly scalable memory, I/O capacity and flexible network options. These server units, when connected to ATTO products, offer a solution that supports the most demanding application requirements.
ATTO Gen 5 powered Celerity 16Gb Fibre Channel HBAs, including the industrys first quad channel card, deliver the highest bandwidth and lowest latency available in the market, as well as reliable and scalable connectivity with twice the maximum throughput of previous solutions. ATTOs Advanced Data Streaming (ADS ) technology manages latency in real-time environments for the smoothest data streaming and best-in-industry data transfers, while MultiPath Director allows not just servers, but also Windows, Linux and Mac workstations to directly connect to enterprise class storage, reducing the latency commonly found in client-server architectures.
ATTOs FastFrame 10Gb Ethernet NICs comprise a versatile portfolio for flexible design, whether used in workstations, servers or data center racked servers. Available in single, dual and quad-port configurations, FastFrame NICs include high quality SFPs and deliver high performance I/O connectivity and lossless Ethernet support for improved iSCSI block storage access. Quad-port cards remove switch-to-server bottlenecks and free up PCI slots for easier system design. FastFrame NICs incorporate ATTOs exclusive ADS technology and are proven to outperform competitive products in demanding applications that require low latency, all while saving up to 30% in power consumption.
