Quality Assurance of Training Products in the arvato Learning Suite 15/11/2012, arvato Systems Integrates EvaSys Evaluation Software into Training Management Software (arvato Systems) Gtersloh, Germany For online and paper evaluations, arvato Systems has integrated the EvaSys system from Electric Paper (Lneburg, Germany) into its arvato Learning Suite (aLS) training management software. The Ostdeutsche Sparkassenakademie (East German Savings Banks Academy) is the first customer to use the combined solution.

The evaluation of events using participant surveys has established itself as a tool for training organizations in achieving quality assurance. In many cases, these evaluations are not conducted by an event management software. This implies an additional effort as the results have to be manually transferred to the core system, for example.

arvato Systems has now addressed these gaps by integrating the EvaSys evaluation system into its aLS event management software. The basic principle is easy to follow. Surveys are automatically transferred from the aLS to EvaSys, which then conducts the evaluations either online or using printed paper forms. If, following the survey phase, any evaluations are present in EvaSys, an automatic export is made back into the aLS with reference to the corresponding event. Specific characteristics of events, such as locations and presenters, are automatically recognized without requiring any action on the part of the user.

The quality assurance process at our academy has been significantly improved by integrating EvaSys into our workflow. In particular, the automation of traditional paper-based evaluations, which are still very important, reduced our daily workload and opened up new possibilities for improving the quality of our products, says Sabine Lopp, Director of Event Management at the Ostdeutsche Sparkassenakademie (OSA). The OSA, as the central training facility of the Ostdeutscher Sparkassenverband (Eastern German Savings Bank Association), provides the more than 26,000 employees of the eastern German Sparkasse savings banks ranging from administrative staff to upper level management with practical, career-oriented training at more than 1,000 events annually.

The arvato Learning Suite supports training organizations such as the OSA or the personnel department at a company with all the tasks of learning and training management; from process, document, and task management to comprehensive customer and partner management, and to campaign and event management. EvaSys integrates seamlessly into the processes supported by the aLS and is now available to all customers as an optional component.
