-- KDDI and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company will launch Family Discount Plus [

1] on October 1, 2019, offering discounts on monthly service charges depending on how many family members subscribe.

Family Discount Plus is a new service that discounts monthly charges for families that join eligible service plans, with greater discounts for more family member subscriptions: a 500 reduction in charges for families with 2 members subscribing, and a 1,000 monthly discount when 3 or more family members sign up. When used in combination with au Smart Value, a family with 3 or more members subscribing can save a total of up to 2,000 per month.

In addition, a Family Plus Start Campaign promotional offer is available from June 1 through September 30, 2019. Families that subscribe to the Family Discount Plus service during this period will receive the maximum 1,000 monthly Family Discount Plus rate reduction from the date of sign-up until September 30, 2019, regardless of how many family members subscribe.
