Vitalbox Scales Preventive Health Platform with Progress Solution Cloud-based Personal Health Platform Delivered to More Patients, Improving Health Outcomes

The Vitalbox solution is designed to enhance individual healthcare while also reducing medical costs by providing a personal health map and alerts. Progress has enabled Vitalbox to easily manage the customized profiles of thousands of users more effectively than with traditional database and software techniques. As a result, the social business is now planning to introduce its low-cost preventative healthcare tools in countries around the world.

As the worlds population continues to increase, grow older and develop chronic diseases earlier, providers are challenged with making healthcare more accessible, effective and affordable.

Vitalboxs Personal Health Platform, benefits both patients and caregivers by providing a health map that uses a patients medical history and lifestyle to calculate the chance of developing chronic conditions, and then proposes actions to reduce risks. Alerts are delivered to the patient if bodily measurements reach certain thresholds. As a result of the successful deployment, Vitalbox is now looking to expand from 16,000 to 600,000 users - a 375% increase. With the Progress software, they significantly reduced the time to market and can now develop and deploy a new rule in 10 minutes versus the previous six-hour timescale. They also expect to reduce development and maintenance cycles by 90%.
