Do you have an engaging, innovative or inspirational natural history, environmental, conservation or adventure story?

Submit your short documentary film concept and stand a chance to be one of 8 filmmakers who will be selected to pitch in the N.E.W Pitch Competition during the NEWF Congress 2018.

Four winners will receive R50 000 each to produce their documentary short as well as have access to mentorship during development and production.

The four documentary shorts produced will form part of a TV documentary for broadcast in South Africa.

Submission Requirements:

One page motivation letter

Max. 1-page synopsis

Max. 2-page narrative treatment submit an outline that clearly indicates how the proposed story will be told in an 8-10 minute short documentary film

Max. 1 page visual/creative treatment

Evidence of research one-page research report

Applicant profile/CV including filmography

Copy of South African ID card/book

Copy of student card (if applicable)
