Telemetrics Presents an Effective and Reliable Presenter Tracking System for Boardroom/Claroom Presentations

Las Vegas, NV (April 13, 2015) - Today at NAB, Telemetrics Inc. debuts their new Advanced Presenter Tracking System (APTS) designed for use in meeting room environments. The system operates by locating and tracking a small, lightweight sensor on presenter(s) in a defined area and does not require manual operators. Telemetrics' APTS technology allows simultaneous multiple-camera tracking of one or several presenters and does not require line of sight between the presenter and the receiver.

Our new APTS transforms a room from a conventional AV design model to a more efficient and useful presentation environment, said Anthony Cuomo, President, Telemetrics, Inc. It's convenient, effective and, thanks to our patent-pending tracking technology, a reliable way to automate studio, boardroom, or lecture hall video production.

The design of the Telemetrics APTS is based on their (patent-pending) Telemetry Tracking Method which uses Magnetic Field Sensing combined with advanced data processing. Sensors worn by the presenters communicate with a CPU to indicate their position within a modulated magnetic field that is generated within the coverage area. This data is then processed to guide the robotic cameras and/or lighting systems.

APTS enables full automatic remote control of the camera's pan, tilt, zoom and focus. It is also capable of re-acquisition and 360 degree tracking which allows the presenter to walk around for more natural and relaxed communication. The system can also control an almost unlimited number of robotic devices (video cameras, spotlights, etc.) and can be custom configured for each application.

Mr. Cuomo adds, APTS offers an unprecedented scalable system, from one presenter one camera to unlimited cameras with nine presenters that can be tracked, individually or simultaneously. It's unmatched as an auto-tracking solution.
