HISPASAT participates in the Digital Festival in Bruels

HISPASAT participates in the Digital Festival in Brussels The Spanish operator presents the solution of satellite connectivity for high-speed trains and moderates a discussion on the ecosystem of the television of the future. HISPASAT will participate in the Digital Festival 2016, an event organized by Forum Europe and sponsored by ESOA (EMEA Satellite Operators Association) and Microsoft which takes place on Tuesday in Brussels and that it is intended to offer the European capital a panoramic view on the impact and the potential offered by the adoption of digital technologies.

HISPASAT will present its new solution for high-speed trains which by means of an advanced hybrid system of satellite and 4 G will revolutionize the experience of connectivity on board, providing video on demand, live TV, News Internet access to passengers.

In addition, against the background of mass consumption of video in todays world, Ester Fern ndez, Marketing Manager of Hispasat, will moderate the interactive session Future TV ecosystem: more quality, more flexibility and more screensIt will feature representatives from Proximus, Nagravision, Amazon and pay-TV operator. The satellite remains as the most important technology for the distribution of audiovisual content, and through its integration with terrestrial networks, continue to maintain the efficiency of its services.

The event will end with a live broadcast of a match of the European Championship, thanks to a demonstration of the solution SAT > IP prepared by Hispasat, which converts the signal received via satellite, IP can be seen in tablets and smartphones without the need of using the terrestrial broadband network assistants.

A trav s de distintos debates, talleres y demostraciones en vivo, los miembros de ESOA, entre los que se encuentra Hispasat, mostrar n la diversidad de aplicaciones y servicios que ofrecen los operadores de sat lites para contribuir a la digitalizaci n avanzada de diversos sectores como trenes, autom viles, aviones, emergencias, medios de comunicaci n o entretenimiento.
